Muhammad Muhsen Ali
Muhammad Muhsen Ali aka Tandoor Boy was the topper of BA/B.Sc. Examinations 2012. He topped in BA examination and got 688 marks out of 800, which is a record in 125 Years in the history of Punjab University.
Muhsen Ali belongs to a poor family of a village Mian Rahema District Hafizabad. He has 11 siblings. He passed his early examination from his hometown Mian Rahema, Hafizabad. Then he went to Swedish Technical College, Gujrat for Diploma in Associate Engineering. After getting the 3-year Metallurgy and Welding Diploma He started his journey to get a job. He visited Lahore, Gujranwal and shekupura but it was useless. He is also a Gold medalist in Hand Ball and Basket Ball twice from TEVTA Board, Silver medalist from all Pakistan. He applied for a job in WAPDA on sports basis but they wanted a bribe of 2 Lakh. Muhsen was unable to afford even 2 thousand.
At last, he started working as a labourer and as a weight lifter. Then started working in a hotel as a Tandoor Boy at Shahdra, Lahore. He worked whole day near fire and remaining time was spent with books. He started prepare for BA examination from Punjab University as a private candidate. He lived with labourers who spent their time watching TV. He lived in a small room where more than 10 slept.
Due to his hard work he could not sleep for several days and mostly got sick. He worked harder and harder, as he had set a goal to get 690 marks out of 800. He wrote the all subjects estimate on a paper. Finally, he scored the 688 out of 800.

English: 146 out of 200
Persian: 89 out of 100
Kashmiryaat: 176 out of 200
Arabic: 196 out of 200
Islamic St. and Pakistan St.: 81 out of 100
Total Obtained marks: 688 out of 800.

- Gold Medal for exceptional performance and accomplishments by Governor of Punjab.
- Gold Medal by Lord Nazeer Ahmed at House of Lords (UK).
- Alwar Gold Medal for highest marks in BA English.
- Amrit Lal Roy Gold Medal for highest marks in BA Arabic.
- Patiala Sime Gold Medal from the University of the Punjab.
- Gold Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement from Ehsan Ullah Bhatt, Manchester, UK.
Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif visited his hometown Mian Rahima, Hafizabad to congratulates to Mohsen's parents. CM also gave the check of 10 lakhs and a house in Ashiana Housing Scheme to Mohsin Ali.
After passing his BA examination, he started his Masters in English from Punjab University. He passed his Masters in 2014 and started the job as a Research Officer in Punjab University.
He also started his job as a Lecturer in Punjab College. In 2016, he selected as a Ufone ambassador and got viral in Ufone commercials. Know-a-days, He is working as Motivational Speaker. He delivered his lecture to students of Bahria University Islamabad and AIR University Islamabad.
